To add another unique element to your meal, you can also choose to only prepare and eat red, white, and blue foods. Get creative with your menu!
Be Safe with Fireworks
A firework show is a critical part of your July 4thcelebrations! So much so that nearly$307.8 million worth of fireworkswere imported by the US in 2016, which were then purchased by thousands of customers and event organizers.
That said, you shouldonlyset off fireworks on your own if it’s legal in your state and after complying with the safety guidelines. Better yet, attend a firework display in your nearest vicinity instead. Arrive early to find the best spots and don’t forget to pack some food with you!
Pick an Outfit
Regardless of whether you’re attending a party, hosting one, or just spending the day with a few close friends, your outfit can seriously liven up your mood. With the color scheme in mind, go for something simple and comfortable with just enough oomph for the occasion.
For instance, you can pair up a red and white polka dotted blouse with blue jeans or skirt, or wear a graphic t-shirt with stripes and stars. The choices are endless once you begin mixing and matching different clothing items! Finish off your look with some festive jewelry, makeup, or other accessories that give off a patriotic vibe.
Choose an Outdoor Spot

Just make sure you’re carrying sunscreen, hats, and bug spray. You don’t want to return home with a nasty sunburn or mosquito bites!
Stock Up On Décor & Accessories
Whether you’re having an indoor party or an outdoor one, don’t forget about the decorations! Hanging red, white, and blue balloons, streamers, and or fairy lights will really brighten up your party and emphasize upon the theme. You can also purchase dipping bowls, plates, and cups with a star-spangled theme which are readily available at low costs.
Glow sticks and beaded jewelry are great nighttime festivities such as firework displays and concerts. Similarly, miniature flags, badges, pinwheels, and whistleblowers are perfect for daytime activities such as parades and carnivals.
Show Off Your Flag
Finally, you need to have a top quality American flag to honor the day. You can hang it from a flagpole, or use smaller versions to carry off to parades and other outdoor events. You can even get a miniature flag for your car or bicycle!
Beautiful finish on quality materials. My install is not typical. I previously made my own pole out of 1.5" steel pipe with welded brackets to bolt to the hand rail and joists on the corner of my deck. It served it's purpose but never looked nearly as nice as it does now. I simply made nylon bushings to fit tightly between the steel pipe and the 3" aluminum pole and slipped it over. So far the highest wind we've had was 47mph and this configuration didn't flex at all with the flag at top mast. The flag is thicker material than most, and again, top quality material and craftsmanship. The best part for me is that this is 100% made in the USA. The only piece of the kit I didn't use was the nylon flag clips. You can upgrade to snaps that won't clang against the pole in the wind. Customer service was quick to respond and great to talk with. I will unquestionably buy another one for my next home!
Hard to find someone to do the job properly ,but after two weeks we finally got it in.
It is awesome and my neighbors are jealous. A couple of them have the telescopic flags so I enjoy telling them that mine is bigger than yours!
