1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Almost everyone in the United States is effected by breast cancer, either through a personal battle or because a loved one has been diagnosed. That means everyone has a personal stake in fighting this deadly disease, and why we're stepping up to help the fight. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we have several ways to help you spread the word about the importance of early detection as well as help raise more money for research to find a cure. Use these two methods to help us spread the word:
We're offering bulk discounts on our breast cancer flags, so if you'd like to purchase multiple flags for your office or to give away to help spread the word about early detection and the need to raise money for this disease, visit our breast cancer awareness flags page. We'll make sure you get a great deal. Breast cancer-related fatality rates have been dropping annually since 1989 thanks in part to the importance placed on annual exams, early detection, and the money raised to find better treatments in the search for a cure. However, this year 40,000 women will die because of the disease, and that is 40,000 too many. Help us spread the word this month and we can all be a part of finding a cure to eliminate this deadly disease.
