Great flagpole!
The vinyl snap covers are awesome! Before using these, I could hear my flag clips smacking against the pole any time of day, and always when it was windy. Now I dont hear anything. I am very pleased with the product, and would highly recommend to others.

Great quality flag!!!
The rotating truck and clip boots were both solid construction. However, both the upper and lower ball bearing sets were supposed to be self lubricating Stainless Steel bearings. They are definitely not stainless steel, sealed, or self lubricating as I was told. The bearings are contained in a bearing holder so they wont fall out all over the place. I highly suggest to loosen to the set screws that hold the top and bearings in and use a high quality grease on both sets of bearings. The weakness of the truck design is that the bearing play can't be adjusted, and the bearings ride against the cast Aluminum (race) which is much softer than the steel bearings. So the races will wear and the bearings play will increase. I'm pretty sure all the trucks out there are of the same design with Al races. I ordered this truck specifically since the rope pulley is further from the center of the pole ( they claim for a 5.5" flagpole top). Thus, my rope is at least 1" away from the top of my flag which is 3.5". Most other trucks for a 3.5" flagpole top would have had the rope touching the top of the flagpole and susceptible to fraying. Overall I am happy, but as with most of the stuff that comes out of China, there is a lot of BS in the description, that also gets past on when you talk to the distributor.
