First, let me say that I waited for over 2 years to order this pole. I was hesitant to spend this kind of money. But, man I am so glad I was patient and waited. Not only was the pole delivered on time and quicker than expected, but all the pieces were well packaged to prevent damage while shipping, arriving in perfect condition.
Installation was as easy as digging a hole (after waiting for JULIE for a week, call ahead once you get shipping notification). I dug my hole a little deeper than needed and used 8-80lb bags of concrete plus two bags of rocks at the bottom of the hole. Long story short, this thing is not going anywhere. I didn’t trust the sand packing idea at first, but now that the pole is up, it is rock solid.
The kit came with everything you need to get going. I added two landscape spot lights and a second set of clips for attaching the USMC flag later on. It is all solid materials and very good quality.
The flag is American made and high quality. Grommets are brass and hems are double sewn.
I could not ask for a better product! Very happy with this whole buying experience. highly recommend if you are on the fence, it’s worth the money!
